Settlement of Divisional Problems and issues raised on the agenda of monthly meeting.

To

The Sr. Superintendent of RMS
Airmail Sorting Division
Mumbai-400099

Sub: Settlement of Divisional Problems and issues raised on the agenda of monthly meeting.

Respected Sir,

It has been brought to notice of this union that the D.O & HRO staffs are frequently being diverted to mail offices as a routine course by the HRO, AMSD, Mumbai. The D.O. & HRO Staff are already overburden by the work assigned to them and are managing the work within the available manpower. There diversion to mail offices on frequent occasion is leading to accumulation of table work and is hampering the smooth functioning of both the units as well as the common interest of the staff members. It is therefore requested to stop this unusual practice of frequent diversion of D.O. & HRO Staff to mail offices and frame a permanent strategy to overcome the shortage of manpower in mail offices of AMSD, Mumbai-400099.

Secondly the IPS Software of APSO (Foreign) is working very slowly from last few weeks due to some backup issue from CEPT Mysore which has not been attended till date. Resultantly the staff of APSO (Foreign) has to be detained beyond duty hours for completion of day to day work. The rainy season has begun and staff needs to be relieved from duty on time to reach home safely and on time by overcoming all hurdles of traffic and transport communication. Therefore for enabling the same it is requested to direct the concerned authorities for rectification of the irregularities of IPS Software on top priority basis for tuning up the speed of the same and also arrange for a backup local server in case of repetition of the same problem.

Further few of the staff members who are diverted to BNPL SP Hub Agripada, Mumbai-400011 recently were supposed to be relieved on completion of the additional work load received at BNPL SP Hub, Agripada, Mumbai-400011. An assurance about the same was also given by the then SSRM, AMSD, Mumbai. But till date not a single person has been relieved from Agripada, Mumbai-400011. It is therefore requested to kindly intervene in the case personally and arrange to relieve the staff deputed to BNPL SP Hub Agripada recently.

The Monthly meeting for May-2015 was also not held due to the transfer of the then SSRM, AMSD, Mumbai-400099 and the problems submitted on the agenda of the same are also not attended till date. Hence it is requested to kindly grant a suitable date for monthly meeting at the earliest.

Regards,

Yours faithfully
